Atlanta Botanical Garden

Atlanta Botanical Garden is a 30 acre garden and woodland located in Midtown. Plant collections are developed and maintained for display, conservation, education, and research. Contains the Dorothy Chapman Fuqua Conservatory and two libraries. Sheffield Botanical Library contains information on botany and horticulture. Orchid Research Library contains information on orchids and global plant conservation.

Events at Atlanta Botanical Garden include the concert series, Concerts in the Garden. These outdoor concerts are held on the Great Lawn, and feature shows by well known entertainrs. More info...

CNN Center

CNN Center is the headquarters of Cable News Network, the 24-hour news network founded by Ted Turner. CNN Center Studio features Studio 7, the largest studio CNN has ever built anywhere in the world. The CNN Center food court offers many dining options. The iconic CNN sign outside the center is a popular Atlanta photo spot. Also located in CNN Center are State Farm Arena and the Omni Hotel.

Georgia Aquarium

Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the world. Eight million gallons of fresh and marine water provide a home for 120,000 animals from 500 different species. More aquatic life is housed here than in any other aquarium. Admission to the Georgia Aquarium is also included in the Atlanta CityPass.

Six Flags

Family fun awaits at Six Flags Over Georgia & White Water Park, the favorite theme park in the Southeastern United States. Experience exhilarating rides, exciting shows, and special attractions. Cool off at the water park that features the long lazy river, a wave pool, an interactive family water play area, thrill slides and more. Open January through October. White Water open January through select date in September. A part of the Metro Atlanta area, Six Flags is located in Austell Georgia.

World of Coca Cola

At the new 62,000 square foot World of Coca Cola, watch a short film about the secrets of the Coca Cola soft drink, see never before seen international Coca Cola artifacts, meet the Coca Cola Polar Bear, sample Coca Cola products, see artistic expressions inspired by coke, view historical Coca Cola television advertising and shop in the Coca Cola store. Admission to World of Coca Cola is included in the Atlanta CityPass.

The Wren's Nest

The Wren's Nest, Atlanta's oldest house museum, is the home of Joel Chandler Harris, author and publisher of the Uncle Remus tales. The museum offers guided tours of the home that include portions reflecting life there in 1908. Brer Rabbit stories originated in Africa and were told by Slaves on Southern plantations in the United States.

Harris published the stories in the dialect of the Slaves who told the stores. Each Saturday, a Nest Rambler recants these stories to The Wren's Nest visitors. More info...

Zoo Atlanta

Zoo Atlanta is one of the 10 oldest zoos in the United States and one of four feature giant pandas. Other animals featured include giraffes, rhinos, lions, tigers, gorillas, orangutans, birds, reptiles and amphibians. Activities include interactive shows, zoo keeper talks and special events. Admission to Zoo Atlanta is also included in the Atlanta CityPass.
